How SCRMBL Works

About SCRMBL

SCRMBL takes the classic 2-Man Scramble and gives it a fresh, community-driven spin — built around teamwork, great shots, clutch saves, and the stories you’ll tell long after the round.

Every qualifier follows the same SCRMBL structure, so no matter where you’re playing, you’re part of the same growing community of golfers who love the game, love the challenge, and show up ready to take their best swings.

Whether you’re a seasoned player or just enjoy teaming up for good vibes and solid contact, SCRMBL welcomes golfers of all backgrounds.

Grab a partner, register, and tee it up — each qualifier stands on its own as a chance to earn your spot in The Final Round.

The SCRMBL Format

12 Qualifiers → 72 Duos → 1 Champion

scrmbl champ update

SCRMBL is built around 12 independent Local Qualifiers, each played as a standardized 2-Man Scramble — the same rules, scoring, and format at every event.

Each qualifier stands on its own. Teams compete based only on that event’s results, with no points system and no carryover between events.

At each qualifier:

  • The Top 5 teams automatically earn their spot in The Final Round.
  • Teams qualify based solely on their finish at that event.

After all 12 qualifiers are complete:

  • 60 teams qualify directly by finishing Top 5 at a local event
  • 12 Wildcard spots are awarded to the best-performing teams who did not qualify directly, but proved they belong on the big stage.

That final field of 72 duos advances to The Final Round, where one team is crowned the SCRMBL Champion.

Common Questions

Who can play?

Anyone — beginner or advanced golfers — as long as they register for an Official SCRMBL event.

Can I play more than one SCRMBL event?

Yes. You can participate in multiple events during the season, but only one Top 5 finish is required to qualify for The Final Round.

If one teammate can’t attend The Final Round, what happens?

Teams must keep at least one original team member. If a teammate is unavailable, a substitute may play, as long as one original teammate remains on the team.

Are prizes awarded?

Yes — both at local events and at The Final Round.
